Games I never completed in my childhood on the Nintendo 64...

Hi gamers!!

Nintendo 64 from Christmas 1996 gets turned on today
"Nintendo 64 from Christmas 1996 gets turned on today"
Time really does fly, nearly 21 and I'm still with the games I played when I was a child. Yes, my very Nintendo 64 from Christmas 1996 gets turned on today (it's the one you see above). The Nintendo 64 had so many great games, and of course my parents didn't believe I had to own every game I borrowed from the local video store... The memory of my Dad saying to my Mum "he has all the games already", which in fact I only owned 6 games at the time or close to 6 lol.

So it was my 8th birthday and I continually bugged my Mum to get me "Donkey Kong 64", and just viewing the game's progress recently I got to 86% which I think was pretty good for having no guidance at all. However I ended up getting stuck on one of levels and I was never able to pass it or progress any further in the game. Donkey Kong 64 is a game I truly want to see the ending for myself.

Next game - Diddy Kong Racing: It's a game that's right up my ally which for anyone who wouldn't know it's a racing game which I excel at. Anyhow, I got to the WizPig race and couldn't pass the game after that, I know there is a space stage at the end as well...

Pokemon Stadium: How much of a bitch V2 was, can you believe people complained about the AI being too easy? So the developers made the AI close to impossible with rental pokemon, and I know rentals were pretty balls but hey I didn't have any pokemon gameboy games, my sister did :/

Vigilante 8: A game I hired over 13 times, and later on owned on the Playstation... As much as I played this game it was very difficult for me in my younger years I never once could complete quest mode. Later on I bought a cheat book from the local news stand and which had codes for this game... I just used the unlocked all code and played Arcade over and over and over again. I guess that's just how I gained skill for the game... I can play quest in a matter of a few hours now of course I'm 20 years old now :P

Pilotwings 64: Such a difficult game in it's later stages, but a great looking game for the time as well. I guess it was just a little complicated for my brain at a young age lol but really it made me scream in frustration and I still remember screaming about it.

Roadsters Trophy: A game that shortly lived my childhood collection, this game was also a gift from my parents for one of my birthdays. It was one of greater looking games I've ever seen on 64 especially for a racing game which had licensed cars (which was quite rare, other than Gran Turismo on Playstation), anyhow the cart was a bit corrupted near the middle of the game were it would just freeze. Who would of known it would of been hard to find complete later on :(

Re-Volt: This game had serious FPS issues, and best played on PC, I got this later on in my childhood and I'd say in the very last years of it... I still remember buying this from EB back in the day for $15, why this memory hangs I don't even know and hell I even remember the unlock everything code for it "B,A,Z,Z,B,L,A ^C"... With the FPS issues aside and all that there was a lot of secrets in the game it was impossible for me to finish at the time... Of course I had the code so I didn't really bother trying to finish the game even further.

That appears to be it from my memory -- I'll have to check my other games later on to see if I've missed any, but for now thanks for reading and happy gaming :)

Vigilante 8 2nd Offense Has Arrived!

Hi gamers!

Yet another game I've been waiting to find complete, "Viglante 8 2nd Offense" is now added to my collection. It's a PAL release UKV to be precise and it's in fair condition, the box is a bit tatty and has had some tape work done to it in the past. I've tried to fix it up better than what it was with some small success.

I was a little surprised to see the reg card included, as I didn't see it in auction picture... However the contents is really good, I haven't seen the manual in this condition in my entire life.
This game brought back so many memories from my childhood, I used to even write my own stories about the game or with characters from the game in grade 2 :P Anyway, more games to come!

AV Beautiful Girl Fighter Arrived + Other Collecting News

Hi gamers!

As the delivery guy is so good at his job I had to wait the weekend until I could go to the post office today, after waiting in line for 15 minutes I finally managed to get my package. As I opened it up it was the highly collectable AV Beautiful Girl Fighter in all it's glory! If you missed out my talk about the game you can view it here. I plan to do a video about the game possibly tonight or tomorrow, depending if I feel up to it or not.

My collecting news stop at the Faimcom, with another game I've been looking for Vigilante 8 2nd Offense for a while now. I stayed up till 5am to win this auction and I know that sounds kind of crazy as it's not *super rare* but it's not very common either in PAL format. It seems (from the photo) it's in fantastic condition, now the nervous wait to see if it arrives to me in that condition... I'm hoping for no stupid packaging like a cereal box or shelf boxes -_-. I'll post an image when it arrives :)

Still on the Nintendo 64, Extreme G arrived last week, a little difficult to find in the PAL region CIB so I'm very happy to own it in this condition ^^

Just quick hitting the home base with the Playstation 3, lately I've found out I have the love for the hack-n-slash genre. So when I ordered Lollipop Chainsaw, I also ordered "Blades of Time" like I mentioned in the previous post. It's a fantastic game to put it in fewer words -- I'm up to the Vicar so I'm quite close to the end, so after that I'll be happy to review it.

Interesting Korean Console Variations (Images)

Hi Gamers!

If you're a video game collector but usually collect more hardware than software, you'd notice the variations between different country releases, for example the Famicom and the NES. However Korea is a weird country when it comes to variation from consoles, first off other companies stamp their logos on the top, side or underneath while keeping all original licensing. Also they're only compatible with their own region games, and as far as I can remember, even the Korean Nintendo Wii has no cIOSs... What's with Korean consoles being so distant?

Without too much fluffing about how different they are, how about we take a look at some of them?

First off, we're looking at a Master System 2 and Original they're known as "Gam-Boy" systems published by Samsung

Here is a Nintendo 64 with Korean markings on the housing, nothing really different apart from that. On the expansion slot there is meaning to have "Super Com Boy 64" which has been scratched off for some unknown reason..
More differences are underneath. The Nintendo 64 was published by Hyundai.

Here we have a Super Com Boy (Super Nintendo) which only has some Korean titling on the front and power LED + Controller. Different labels of course and oops, looks like RF isn't an option, that damn sticker is in the way!
Also published by Hyundai for Nintendo.

Here is a 3DO by Goldstar, only noticable difference is the 'ALIVE' planted on the top of the console and some Korean translation for power, tray and reset.

Korean Gameboy which I'm guessing is published by Hyundai too, but no back image sadly...

Korean Neo-Geo AES, with Gray markings and no translated switches, why not?

Next we have a Korean NES which varies from the Hong Kong version, the NES also has a different name "COMBOY" You'd think it's a very good pirate system, but no it's genuine. Also published by Hyundai.

A system any collector would kill for, a Samsung Saturn, with different art on the CD Lid and SEGA Doesn't even get a mention on this one... "Nope it's our system, we made it!" - Samsung :P
Well actually Samsung I believe made the soundchip for the Saturn but that's another story...

Woah! What's this space ship do? Well no it's a Korean 8-bit system (I think) known as the Zemmix.

Well, that's all I have for you gamers at this stage, as usual I'll post another article here soon. Thanks for reading :>

I don't hate modern gaming, just isn't that unique any more.

Hi gamers!

Many discussions this week about modern gaming, I've had a few comments on YouTube, forums, Facebook, Twitter and Steam about modern gaming and what I think about them.
As much as I love gaming inside and out, there are many aspects I look into when I see or play them. I used to do this when I was kid with the Nintendo 64 and Playstation, and I do this now with the Wii, XBOX 360 and Playstation 3.
With those consoles in mind, think about how the Nintendo 64's and Playstation games looked, and now how the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 games look. There isn't any uniqueness any more, you really have to look hard to find the differences now, not that this effects the average gamer, but it effects me, and a few others have notice this small difference problem too. It was good to have different graphics styles, every game gets a cross platform release, same price, same game, just different button mapping.

"Nintendo 64 Smooth graphics, bright colours Playstation - Choppy graphics, awesome sound"

Although to you this may not seem like a bad thing (which it's not), it just makes gaming today a lot less interesting. I haven't been that impressed with games in this generation as much as I was impressed with games even in the previous generation, let alone the generation beforehand. I used to look at a Playstation 2 game and think "wow, look at the lighting here!" then look at an XBOX game and be even more amazed. Now you can barely tell the difference what the game is running on...

Notice where I'm coming from?

I love Fighters, and Arcades racers the most, and a handful of RPGs. Arcade racers today just don't really work and the only one I've enjoyed is Blur (if you haven't noticed), of course I've liked Ridge Racer 7 and 3D blah blah, but I don't feel excited about playing them as I do say Destruction Derby 64, SF Rush, Super Mario Kart and so on, those are way more memorable than today's library.

I'd never quit modern gaming, although next generation doesn't look so bright (early to say?) but that's all matter of personal opinion. Though many gamers I've spoken to have thought about quitting modern gaming altogether as they were failed to be impressed by the favourite companies, which is quite sad.

With having said that, I am looking forward to a few sequels that may impress me or may disappoint me. I've mentioned some where the games I'm looking forward to, and I don't see the need to repeat that.
No need to get choppy about this, this my opinion on the matter, and just play what you enjoy! As a retro gamer maybe I just find it hard to move on.

Nintendo 64 hunting continues and HAPPY EASTER!!

Hi gamers!

First off, Happy Easter to you all! I bet many of you played a lot of games today ^^

It's been a few days since my last blog post, but only because I've been so bloody busy on my new shiny tablet :3. Well, I've only just gotten it, last Thursday. I should leave this tablet talk for next entry, thinking of reviewing it actually on my channel...
SO! What have I been up to besides that? Well I've been hunting Nintendo 64 stuff, and I mean hunting, I've got notepad++ open listing down games I need to recover what I used to own as a child, and even games I WANTED to own at that time.

As I've mentioned many times before I've always been into Arcade Racers, and that genre is usually 3rd party and what this means is, many games I'm looking for are either: Rare, Expensive, or horrible condition and off the top of my head, it's going to be a very slow process. Well that's part of the fun right?

Not all of this search can be done online, I'll have to ask around people I know and check every goodwill store there is locally. Too bad the weather has been pretty shitty, and actually my city has the worse -_-

Well that's what I've been doing lately, not much as I've quit my study and currently looking for work, oh that's the other thing but I guess you wouldn't want to read about that anyway. XD

Super Mario 64 Arrived!! Childhood recovered! :P

Hi gamers!

Today my friend brought over Super Mario 64 which arrived Monday, he has way more luck in auctions than I do, so I got him to bid :P Anyway, I finally own this game, after borrowing it from many people and video stores during my primary school days. I remember this game being $50 brand new at various entertainment and lifestyle stores, and well I paid $10 more for it in 2012.

CIB+ |CART|INSTRUCTIONS|BOX|W/CARD|POSTER|H/CARD
The game is great condition I wouldn't say perfect, but it is indeed good condition. What pissed me off the most is that the seller posted the game in a box and wrapped the game up in news paper, now here is something every seller should know, NEVER PACK GAMES IN NEWSPAPER!!! If you do, at least wrap the game in plastic before hand. -_-. When I unwrapped the game there was ink all over it and was very gluey.
Luckily I managed to remove all the new paper ink from the box with Windex ^_^.
Another thing was also spotted, the seller had stuffed the manual into the box the wrong way causing the bottom of it to crumple ><. I had to flatten the it out the best way I could with a XBOX 360 :P

I would have to mention; Nintendo 64 is pretty difficult to collect for, many sellers cannot pack these even if they were told how. I've had games shipped in bags without any bubble wrap, and many of them arrived crushed.

GoldenEye (N64) Spectrum Emulation Unlocked!!!

Hi gamers!

Crazy news that has been discovered years after Goldeneye 64 was released! An amazing Spectrum emulator has been discovered and it's actually built in to the game it's self. This is true and there is video to prove this, if you still don't believe this you can possibly try this on a N64 emulator, Everdrive64, CD64 or V64 :)

A quote of the original post/description can be found below:

Little benownst to the world all this time, GoldenEye (N64) has a fully-functional ZX Spectrum 48x emulator built into it. By feeding it a proper Spectrum monitor program and calling menu 25 to load a snapshot, any Spectrum 48x program can be run.

The emulator started life as a side project to see if Spectrum emulation was possible on N64 and was hooked into GE, the current game in development. It was supposed to be removed before release but was only made inaccessible and inoperable. All the registers, dependancies, and script required to run the emulator still reside in retail GoldenEye carts.

The original list of games were previous Rare titles, then known as Ultimate Play the Game. The embedded filelist is, in order:
em/data/sabre.seg.rz Sabre Wulf
em/data/atic.seg.rz Atic Atac
em/data/jetpac.seg.rz Jetpac
em/data/jetman.seg.rz Lunar Jetman
em/data/alien8.seg.rz Alien 8
em/data/gunfright.seg.rz Gun Fright
em/data/under.seg.rz Underwurlde
em/data/knightlore.seg.rz Knight Lore
em/data/pssst.seg.rz Pssst
em/data/cookie.seg.rz Cookie
em/data/spec_rom.seg.rz Spectrum 16k monitor program
In actual fact, the emulator was supposed to run without the aid of the monitor program. Critical subroutines were copied out or hardcoded. In its current state, however, the monitor is required.

Originally, the emulator was run much the same way that stages are run. Unlike stages which run by switching to menu 11, the emulator runs by switching to menu 25. When initialized, it reads what buttons are held on controller 3. Depending on the button held is which game would be loaded. From there, the monitor program and selected snapshot file are loaded from ROM, and if necessary these files are decompressed.
Only controller 1 is detected. This is mapped as a Kempston joystick on port 31. Necessary buttons to start each game (usually keyboard '0') and any additional keys to play the game are mapped to the keyboard port 254 halfwords. These are set on a per-game basis, but general controls are A/B to start a game, Z for the 'action' button, and L to unload the emulator and return to gameplay.
Each emulation cycle lasts 69888 Spectrum cycles. Each opcode consumes a certain amount of this cycle count. At the end, the screen is drawn to the Spectrum screen buffer, and this is displayed like an image using usual N64 microcode. Emulation continues as long as menu 25 is called.

+_+

Why a Patch Is Required

In its pre-patched state the emulator has some peculiar issues, probably due to the different versions of included files used to compile the retail game.
For instance, the ten games listed above were not all selectable. The initializer only has button masks for eight games, defaulting to SabreWulf. The snapshot loader restricts this list to only the first five. The controller mapping function, however, redirects buttons for all ten titles.

Interestingly, the ROM file table leaves only ten spaces for the ten different snapshot files blank. These are completely blank, without any data or indicies until the final file placeholder. As previously mentioned, the monitor was not supposed to be included but is requested by the snapshot loader. Otherwise, the list would require eleven spaces.

The 'unloader' does not, in fact, work properly. It copies NULLs over the program manager. This, obviously, will cause any number of fatal errors to the current game and make it impossible to return to normal gameplay. Also, there is no capacity to reset the screen registers to default.

+_+

The Patch

The patch will reactivate full emulation support in GoldenEye.
The patch should be applied only to an uneditted, unbyteswapped (big-endian) North American GoldenEye ROM (NGEE). The GoldenEye Setup Editor can apply and byteswap the ROM for you, as well as recalculate the checksum. (Yes, that was a shameless plug.) It should run properly on hardware. Probably ;*)

You can download the patch via mediafire:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?6bnashajw41n5p5

Don't pirate ROMs! In most countries you can legally make a backup copy of a cartridge and apply the patch to that. No direct links to ROMs of any kind, patched or otherwise. Respect the Fuzz!

Emulation can be triggered from the folder select screen after the Eye and title screens by pressing L+R on controller 3. To access each game, hold the button noted below on controller 3 as you press L+R. If no buttons are held or an invalid combination is used it will default to Cookie. For best results, hold the button for the game you want as you press L+R.
c left Sabre Wulf
c right Atic Atac
c up Jetpac
c down Luna Jetman
+ left Alien 8
+ right Gun Fright
+ up Underwurlde
+ down Knight Lore
A button Pssst
(default) Cookie
To end emulation at any time, simply press L on controller 1. It should return you to the folder select screen and allow you to continue to play normally. This also conveniently allows you to select another Spectrum game if you wish.
Here's a link to a video of the thing in action. Please keep in mind Nemu's running with some pretty shotty plugins to get the recording rate fairly high.
Briefly, here's the basics to playing each game.

You fly by pressing up or automatically if you walk over a crater in the ground. This consumes fuel in the meter at the top of the screen. To refuel, stand in the middle of your rover.
Pick up an item by moving over it and pressing A. You drop the item by pressing A again. You can also drop an item on the flat part of your rover to drive it to a location. Teleporting while holding an item also transports the item.
You can repair craters. Stand in the middle of the rover and pressing A to pick up a piece of bridging. Drop the bridging while hovering over the crater by pressing A again. There is an infinite supply of bridges.
To destroy an alien base carry a bomb and drop it from above onto the main building. Dropping a bomb anywhere else simply leaves a crater. Bombs always appear next to the rover and there is an infinite supply of them.
When time is out the aliens fire two missiles, one of which is a dummy. The other will bee-line for the rover and destroy it. If it does the game is over. You can destroy the missile by firing at it or colliding with it. The time bar is at the top of the screen.

For those interested in how much code the patch affected, here's a brief summary.
To hook the emulator in, eight lines were added into menu 5's interface to test for controller three. Room was allocated by condensing the usual control stick tests.
A 2-byte fix was used to allow access to ROM filelist entry 0x2DF. This bug was only present in NGEE and corrected in later versions.
ROM filelist entries were added for each snapshot and the program monitor. Since the monitor is necessary in this iteration of the emulator but is commandeering a snapshot entry, the unused text file LwaxJ has been overwritten with cookie.seg.rz. All other entries fill blank, unused placeholders.
As previously mentioned, the file loader was limitted to the first five titles. This test was changed into a simple invalidity test. Changes were made in-place (crudely) and affect a total of five lines.
Menu 25's initializer, used to determine which of the games should be loaded by testing the held buttons on controller 3, has been completely rewritten. Games are no longer had-coded to masks but use a table. A final NULL entry indicates the end of the list and simultaneously the index of the default snapshot. The masks used are identical to those used by Rare, with the exception of the default entry being overridden with the unregistered game Cookie. One line was also added to stop the main menu music.
Within the controller mappings, L's assigned function no longer nullifies the program manager. It now calls the title object, returning to the previously-loaded menu 05 (folder select). This consists of four lines, replacing a loop and shortening the code generally.
Although unneccessary, the Start button was mapped to mirror the A/B start game option for all titles.
Everything else is untouched, including all aspects of actual emulation. You are playing Rare's actual embedded Spectrum emulator and nothing else.

Watermelon Red (Clear Red) Nintendo 64 [Video]

Hi gamers!

This morning I stepped on another box while going to my study, so I went back in side quickly and cut the box open. As promised, a very nice looking Watermelon Red Nintendo 64 was added to my collection ^_^

I talk a little more about it's condition in the video. Enjoy.

More arrivals! Ridge Racer 64 and Dead or Alive: Gentei Seisan-ban!!

Hi gamers!

This morning I woke up and found a fairly large package when I was leaving for study, so I quickly ripped it open to find Ridge Racer 64 inside. The seller was so good at packing the game it looked like the pictures from the auction when I unwrapped it. It was covered in 2 rolls of bubble wrap, and then stuffed with shredded paper... unlike the sealed copy of Perfect Dark I got last year, which you can check out here and the follow up here.

RR64 - $30 | Dead or Alive - $16

Also, not only Ridge Racer 64 arrived, but Dead or Alive (Gentei Seisan-ban) did as well. If you're wondering what this copy of Dead or Alive is all about, it's a limited edition with a small booklet stuffed with sketches, and 3DGC renders of most DOA characters, and that's right you guessed. It features all the women but it's nothing too exclusive to this edition sadly.

More stuff arriving soon! Thanks for reading.

Destruction Derby 64 Review is LIVE!

Hi gamers,

I'm proud to announce that my Destruction Derby 64 review is LIVE on YouTube! I planned this review for a very long time. I wrote the script last night and practised it all morning and afternoon and made the video. Lengthy process but I hope everyone understands it, and it's up to a good standard and most of all enjoy it!

Check it out ^_^

Upcoming reviews!! What I plan to do.

Hi gamers!

Last night while I couldn't sleep I kept thinking what game I should review next. As much as I love Arcade Racers I'm thinking of starting off with Destruction Derby 64, my first review was for 1ns2ne and well that's current generation so I want to try and review something current generation gamers may have missed or fans of the games will enjoy to hear about again.

My choice for Destruction Derby 64 was because it was the first game I reviewed, for an assessment in high school we had to review a movie, or book and I asked if I could do a game. The teacher allowed me to do so, and I happened to print of documents about the game and handed them out to classmates.. What a waste of ink that was..

As always I'll stick to Nintendo 64 Arcade Racers for now, and then branch off into other systems. There are actually quite a few games on Playstation 2 I'd love to review. That's only 1 other system and there are quite a few I want to get through, that's right you guessed it XBOX.

I've ran into a small problem however, I do have a capture card for RCA input but not S-Video or even HD.. Game footage won't be HD for now but since I'm reviewing games from Nintendo 64 it wouldn't really matter, but I thought I'd throw that out there..

I plan to somewhat script some and actually plan out these reviews, so they won't be like my Insane 2 review where it was a first impression video. I used the term "review" lightly for 1nsane 2, well it was a first impression video like I said. Don't worry my review for Destrutcion Derby 64 and other games won't be like that, as 1nsane 2 was only out for 1 day, I thought an first impression video would work well and too be honest it has. Just reached over 110 views for the 3 days it's been up on my channel.

I'll try and have my own style to the reviews after watching so many other people review games it's hard not to adapt to their style. Hopefully you understand what I mean by that ><

That's pretty much all for me, see you in my next review.
Happy gaming!

EXTREMELY Über Rare Nintendo 64 Controller Nintendo Power 100 Listed on eBay!

Hi gamers and readers alike!

I have stunning news to share, as you know I'm collecting for XBOX as well as Nintendo 64 and while searching around eBay I stumbled upon this $350 controller without looking to far into the thumbnail it just looks like an ordinary gold controller, but if you look even more closely at it you'll notice a small emblem on the  top centre of the controller displaying "Nintendo Power 100". Closer image here. What makes this controller so special is that it was only given to Nintendo Power subscribers who competed in a "luck of the draw" competitions and this was to celebrate their 100th issue.

The controller was posted out to the winners in a simple factory bag without a box.. Much like the Millennium and DK64 controller.

$350 is surely a collector's price, and if I had the money it would of been sold in a matter of seconds. Hopefully I have increased the awareness of this controller for a collector who has been looking for it. I believe the seller ships worldwide, so good luck!

For matters of privacy I will not post the link to the item on eBay, maybe on Twitter I will if I get asked by a collector... oh and of course, you can search on eBay yourself right? ;)

My New YouTube Channel has the green light! First video is rendering ^^

Hi gamers,

Today I have fantastic news (once again), my first video was recorded today, edited together and finally rendering. In the first video I'm talking a bit about myself, the Nintendo 64 collection with small comments about each game and the future videos that will be uploaded. Hopefully this will get the ball rolling for the channel as I do have a lot more planned this week, also I'll be looking at getting a proper video camera for the videos as recording with the 3GS just isn't going to cut it, doesn't really look appealing it's only there temporarily don't worry.

Hopefully, you'll enjoy this series and the upcoming videos. I should mention that I've nearly gotten 5,000 views here? It's nearly 1,000 per month.. I'm still stunned at the amount of attention my blog is getting and I thank all of you! Of course the more views the more content. Stay tuned ^_-

Check all you Nintendo 64 cartridge tabs if you haven't recently!

Hi gamers,

10 minutes ago I opened my draw and wanted to check the condition of my Vigilante 8 cart, as I'm thinking of selling it and buying a boxed version however after see the cartridge was a bit warped I turned cart to the visible pin area to find the tabs underneath were starting to pop out on the right side [tweet], from what I can see without taking the cartridge apart is that the inner PCB is bending and causing the cart housing to pop open... Without the second tab in place there is no way to close the cartridge back up and remains open and unplayable (doesn't slide into my Nintendo 64). Until I buy a cartridge gamebit screwdriver I cannot see the full damage..

buckling pins and PCB/Broken tab
This game is an ex-rental as I bought it from EB Games many moons ago, and of course I avoid ex-rentals now. However from the time I bought it I had no problems until today. It's been sitting in my draw for years. What's causing this to happen? Is beyond me and how to prevent? I have no idea without pointing out the obvious.Which is why I've come to the conclusion that this can happen to other games as well.. Check your games over if you haven't recently!

Bidding Like a Madman | Updates

Hi gamers,

Let me get the apology out the way, sorry I haven't been submitting as much content as I usually do. It's not the fact that I want to stop blogging in fact I want to blog even more.

I've been reorganizing a lot things and wondering what I'd be doing this year. I'm leaning towards taking a trip to America and doing some more game shopping over there, jumping into stores and markets (it's pretty big over there). If I don't happen to go for what ever reason I'd have to study or find a job and you know how hard both of those things are.

I happen to format my PC today, and install a 64-bit OS as I was running on a 32-bit OS and what a difference it makes! Took me a few hours to install and reinstall my must needed applications and what not, it's such a tiring process. Also trying to find 64-bit version of the programs you had.

Been up to a lot of bidding lately on eBay, a few games have popped up that don't usually show up as bids. I've been trying to get them for a single figure price including the postage as it happens from time to time. It looks like everyone else has the idea and keeps putting stupid automatic bids in, doesn't that bother you? Any how, a few current generation games are getting into the mix, and of course retro games. I always aim to buy retro, but bidding on those is nearly impossible sometimes, especially Nintendo 64 stuff.

On the topic of Nintendo 64, the EXTREME Green controllers I mentioned a few submissions ago are on their way! I might happen to see them next week or the following week.
There are quite a few Nintendo 64 games I'll be bidding on, and it's not like I haven't already. I've spent quite a bit of cash in the past week just on gaming stuff, so I might need to slow down next week.. Of course if it's possible :P

Amazing Tie Fighter Nintendo 64 Custom Console on eBay

Hi gamers!

Remember the Green/White Yoshi Nintendo 64 I posted a few weeks back? Well here is another custom Nintendo 64, this time it's been stuffed into a Hasbro 1995 Tie Fighter from Star Wars. The system overall looks amazing no doubt about it, very unique mod. The controller ports seem a bit hacked up with a sharp tool but other than that it's very very neat!

If you want this, expect to pay $600 for it. I'm not too sure where this price is coming from, but I believe it's the original toy shell you're paying for as a standard Nintendo 64 is $30-$40 stock. It does have a built expansion pak so that won't be a worry. When powered on the cockpit lights up red, I think it should really of been changed though, maybe blue?

No bids and 5d to go, wonder if it will sell?
