I'm a 1992 born video game collector from Australia.
I've been playing video games since 1996 when I got the Nintendo 64 for Christmas since then I've been collecting. My Father always told me to keep original packaging (my Father collects Model Cars and Planes), I've adapted that quite well, as I even have all my Nintendo 64 games and their boxes today.
In 2009, my study required to find work experience I worked in a small video game shop for 2 weeks, my view on gaming changed and started to learn everything about consoles I've never heard of.
mid 2012 was time I stopped collecting for various consoles and just focusing on the XBOX. For the rest of 2012 I decided to sell off my revision systems for other platforms like Playstation 2 Slim, Blue/White Nintendo 64 and so on. This has helped me purchase rare XBOX gems I wouldn't be able to originally afford.
There's no chance or thoughts of selling off my Nintendo 64 collection, it's at a standstill but I'm happy with it and I have close to every game I enjoyed as a kid.
