Quit my course and what my plans are... It shouldn't of come to this.

Hi gamers!

After my last entry I've had quite a bit of time to think about where I'm going with the course. With also keeping last year's studies in mind I've come to the conclusion of quitting the course. There are many reasons why I have come to this conclusion, it's because I haven't learn't a god damn thing, not a single bit of information, alright fine I learn't how to use the UI of Maya BUT nothing else! A whole year's study I learn't the UI of Maya... Now don't get to the conclusion that I didn't pay attention, hardly anyone learn't anything.

So no one else falls into this horrible study centre again, steer clear of Kangan TAFEs. You've been warned!


My parents mentioned to me to try and search for another course, I straight away said  "no". Not with the way the education system has treated my older Sister and myself. Ever since primary school it's been nothing but troubles all the way through.

So where am I going to head after this? Well I have to get a job that's a very large priority here, I'll need an income to be able to learn everything myself (books and what not), yes it will be a slower process but at least I'll ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING! Not only for learning materials but I enjoy collecting as (I guess you figured already :P, of course that eats money, very quickly).

I've been trying to plan my life ahead by thinking were I'd be in a next 5-10 years, depending on my financial situation I'd most likely be in the US. There is just so much more for me over there than there is currently in Australia, of course it will never improve over here it's actually one of the most expensive places to live.
Anyhow, I'd love to get a job in the US and start my life over as not much has interested me here.

I know this is a gaming blog, but nothing hurts to have "unplugged" content now and then. I'm waiting on quite a few things to arrive so until then you see much content. Of course depending on events and what not :).
I should also mention I'll be attending the Supanova weekend! I'll be broke most likely afterwards, hope everyone is excited for it as I am ^_^ More hype for Supanova as it gets closer, but for all cosplayers out there, hope you finish your cosplays!!

  

I'm very close to quitting my study, incompatible teachers!!

Hi gamers.

I really need to get this crap off my chest, I'm currently studying Multimedia and it's really going no where and I'm learning shit all. Some of our teachers gives us PDF booklets to study at home and not teach us anything in class, now I understand it's some of our responsibilities to study on our own at home but I want to learn new things from a teacher I will be taught the right and wrong way of doing something hence the term "TEACHER".

Anyhow, some of my class mates have paid 1 grand for this course and receiving no quality. I've paid $158 because of my age, but still I'm going no where, I really feel sorry for my classmates who have paid that much for the course.

Just today the teacher got the shits because we didn't follow the YouTube tutorials and booklets he gave us last class to do at home. He mentions that our 3 hour classes isn't enough for learning JAVA in Unity, which is fair enough, but to cancel a 3 hour class because we didn't watch/read a tutorial in our time is just out right stupid. It's our problem if we don't do our own work, but our teacher should of carried on with the class anyway, no questions asked. He even gave us the option to complain to the TAFE directly.
It's nothing more than him actually getting the shits, yes I'm paying for this class, in fact I'm paying for all of them and 95% of them were all cancelled this week and 1 of those excuses were illegitimate.

Every single student in my class (there is only around 8 of us, yeah 8) want to succeed in this course, but we're forced to water down our enthusiasm by the teacher's poor performance and expectations.
Just like before, this doesn't happen all the time, but now it's happening more often it's bullshit, I'm pretty sure you agree with me there.

I've been called a liar, stupid, useless and a fuckton of other things by the teachers at this TAFE, and no it's not JUST this TAFE, my Sister's university have treated her the same way. It's about time the Australian government reviews our education, because you're all employing the wrong people and young students don't have a future because of it, remember, we need that useless bit of paper to get into a job.

I'm just going to quit, find a average paying job and learn everything myself from others on YouTube, because really that's what we're already getting, but we're paying for it and that teacher gets the money.
