Bayonetta: Climax Edition for $30? Hell yeah!

Hi gamers,

Last week my friend and I were looking around for some Playstation 3 games, since this is usually the time of year to get some games at discounted prices. While looking around my friend picked up a limited edition Bayonetta box, I snatched it off him (I just couldn't believe it was in front of me, not that I'm a prick) and saw the price right there on a yellow sticker $30 I'm dead serious, $30! We then hid the game and search around the internet to see how common this is (I haven't been follow the current game scene for a while) saw one for $80 and one for $50 brand new of course. I then thought "Wow, what a deal.. $30 brand new limited edition for the same price as a standard edition, it's every collector's dream!"

Later on in the night I went to the store's website and it had "This game is part of our 2 for 40 offer!", I then messaged my friend and said to him "Tomorrow, we must go there and buy the game, we'll buy one game each so we get each game for $20" he agreed and went the next day.

I don't even have to mention the store name, who else uses this blinding web design?

My friend rings me up and says "The woman at the counter looked it up on the PC and said the game is still here. Do you still want it?" I message back saying "sure, grab the game." 10-15 minutes later I get another call he reports "The woman at the counter said, they don't have it". (This was when he went up with the money in his hand mind you).
I just went face first into my pillow, so let me get this straight.. You have the game that's not in stock, with an insanely low price tag, let alone being in a 2 for $XX offer on the shelf just wait to disappoint a customer? What is this store? Is it ran by monkeys?

Even if they have the box on the shelf surely the art book, and soundtrack MUST be there some where.. Did it just vanish or something? I'm still to return to the store just for shits and giggles to see if the box is back on the shelf. Maybe once the 2 for $40 offer ends, it will magically appear... If it's too good to be true, well it probably is.

Such a disappointment :(
