Hi gamers and collectors!
Welcome back to yet another addition to my XBOX collection; Need for Speed: Underground is the title we're are looking at. So what can EA do to feed off the Fast and Furious movie? An illegal street racer game, yep that sounds like a good idea! I'll cut straight to the chase here, some customization parts are a 1:1 copy of the parts used on the cars in Fast and Furious movie. The Honda S2000 and Honda Civic spring to mind as I made those cars back in the day hah. Anyhow so Need for Speed: Underground was a fantastic title, for my birthday my Uncle bought me Need for Speed: Underground on the Nintendo Gamecube back in the day and mannn do I remember the game so well, even on my 60cm CRT TV XD.
The cover art alone is memorable, the gameplay is memorable just what happened EA? After Need for Speed: Most Wanted - the NFS series dug deep, some people say it was after Need for Speed: Carbon, but personally Most Wanted is where it stopped for me. How many times has EA said 'we're are going back to our roots...' it never fucking happens, EVER they love changing it so much it's no longer part of the series oh and now CriterionGames is behind Most Wanted? *Joker claps* no brains what so ever... HOW IS THAT LIKE THE FIRST MOST WANTED!? I need to cool down a bit, so let's go on about the condition..
Condition! Well it's great, no really it is... I didn't expect to find a copy in collectable condition let alone black label. The manual is nicely kept too, it makes me wonder what some people do with their's?
If you've never played or heard about Underground you should certainly pick this one up when you've got the chance, it's around a $7 game and it will be one of the best $7 you'll spend or if you pick one up for $4 like did, you'll be even happier.
Well that's about it for me, more games to come - see you there!
