Hi gamers and collectors!
Welcome back to yet another addition to my XBOX collection, and here I have V8 Supercars Australia 2. Right from the get go this is Race Driver or TOCA Race Driver as it's known in the UK, the title change was just a quick cash grab from the Australian gamers and an excuse to gain more popularity. I guess it must of sold well enough for 3 of these titles to come out, the new instalments of the series didn't make sense as they branched off into F1 and Rally I think... What!? They still carried the V8 Supercars title I tell you not.
In terms of gameplay it's pretty good, around the 128-bit generation Codemasters were fantastic at racing games, great attention to detail and what not, a great example would be Colin Mcrae Rally 3. With today's power of our systems, the detail only gets more involved, which we were shown in DiRT 2. Anyway I'm getting off-track here... I much rather prefer the V8 Supercars than 2, for reason that it stuck to the Supercars and not just a title swap oh and cover art like this one was. Other things were missing too, but I just can't quite tell...
In terms of condition, it's well looked after! Manual looks untouched and DVD is spotless. I could say the same thing for the case as well.
More games to come during the week, see you there!
