[XBOX] XBOX Debug Kit (XDK) has Arrived!

Hi gamers and collectors!

Behold, the mighty brawler, the XBOX Debug Kit has arrived and is now added to my XBOX collection.
So what's a debug kit do? It's a tool developers used to test their code or complete builds of their games to put it simply. It has features to test XBOX Live (create dummy-friends and accounts, able to connect to PNET (PartnerNet), controller settings (Vibration motors, analogue dead-zones, and button pressure), Audio (A console to test various audio properties like gain, bass etc), and lastly Dolphin (A directX test demo of a dolphin swimming in a circle motion with lighting and FPS counter).

The person who sold this too me, went to the absolute extreme to make sure I was receiving the best condition system he could find, I wasn't so picky about it having unreleased content or anything of that nature (that alone increases the price). As I opened the box I was amazed at how well it was packed to begin with but I was throwing out all the box, news paper, foam, and bubblewrap to get to the system I've been waiting years to own.
I straight away unwrapped the system and looked it all over before even moving into my room to test it out, I really couldn't believe I finally own a confidential machine, a machine I thought I'd never ever have in any of my collections.
I started to check out the cosmetic differences from the retail machines, the noticeable "DEBUG KIT" text is great to stare at, completely unmarked. Took a peak at the jewel and hardly any deep marks, I think I could buff those marks out of it that it has, but it's nothing major/noticeable. So I turned the machine over and this is where the fun stuff happens, a few stickers describing the system (which you'll find below). A breaching contract sticker is also present and yes, this unit hasn't been opened before. If you're ever looking to find one of these, there is a high chance it will be opened - this is due to the swap of power supplies.

So after the OCD condition check :P I quickly hooked her up to the TV and started to look around the system. You'll be greeted with a normal XBOX boot up sequence, but when it finished you'll be shown the "XDK LAUNCHER" this is where the fun begins :D

Incase you're all wondering, these machines only run debug code meaning you cannot run retail software from DVD. This is because of the flag is different on the DVD, which I'm sure now you can change with some minor tweaking, but I'd have to ask my pal on that one.
I'm not too sure which studio this came from, I looked around the save data and found a few files there for a game called "Powerdrome" by Argonaut Software. Sadly the game was wiped from the installed HDD. I'm having a feeling it's still on the drive being that the HDD is showing 4.72GB, XBOX HDDs are 8GB in total. After I connect this by FTP I'll have a look around and report back.

I'll make a video about the kit soon enough, but for now here are some extra porn for you. :P

Over all I'm happy to say I'm super, super, super pleased with the process. The member I bought this off had great service, packed well and really looked after me the best he could. Thanks!!

More games and systems to come. See you there!
